Unlike June of last year when it was rather cool, this June is proving to better follow the meteorological calendar so far! Just in time for summer's arrival are some of the hottest temperatures of the year so far. Maximum temperatures are expected to be in the 90s across the Piedmont today with 80s elsewhere, except 70s in the mountains. It will be even a bit warmer tomorrow and over the weekend. No thunderstorms are expected today, but we should start to see more pop up showers and thunderstorms for the weekend.
